Town of Parker Scholarship Program

The Town of Parker’s Recreation Scholarship program was designed to help Parker families and/or individuals with limited financial resources participate in Town Recreation programs and facilities. Scholarships may provide a percentage discount for families but will not cover the complete registration cost and do not guarantee a space in an activity. There is a $100 maximum per family, per year. Local businesses, community groups, and individuals contribute annually to the scholarship fund, it is not supported by tax dollars and varies each year.

Scholarship Opportunities

Double Angel Youth Baseball/Softball Scholarships
Age 4 through 14

Double Angel Foundation believes that all children should have the chance to play baseball and softball. The Parker non-profit organization was formed after two baseball-loving boys, Dillon and Logan Dixey, drowned following exposure to carbon monoxide while boating; the Double Angel Ballpark was built in their honor.

Double Angel Foundation provides scholarships to assist with fees for summer youth baseball and softball participants. Registration for baseball and softball opens on March 31 at 10 a.m. Scholarship applications are available here or by emailing Angie Combest or Kati Janssen.

Scholarships Available for Challenger Soccer Camps!

Challenger Sports will provide three full scholarships (one per camp) for those who need funding assistance. Each scholarship includes a complimentary registration and free jersey! If you are registering for the half-day program you can also join the Golden Goal program for FREE!

To apply, a Parker Parks and Recreation Scholarship Application (PDF) must be submitted for each child. If there are more than three applicants, eligible recipients will be selected randomly. Registration opens for all Challenger camps on Jan. 7, and scholarship applications must be submitted by April 10 or contact Angie Combest or Kati Janssen for more information.
