Parker Ice Trail at Discovery Park

Based on Douglas County's status on the COVID-19 Dial and our responsibility to meet those requirements, all patrons, regardless of age, must reserve a time block for the Parker Ice Trail. Reservations will be available at 10 a.m. two days prior here. (When registering, if you have a Parker Recreation membership or passes, you already have an account, please use 'Forgot My Password' to retrieve your login information. It is most helpful to find a desired time block if you filter by date) At this time, walk-up registration is not recommended.

During the winter, the new Parker Ice Trail at Discovery Park, located next to Parker's new Library on Mainstreet and Pine Drive, is available seven days a week. One of the only ice trails in the country, the new Parker skating path meanders through the park reminiscent of a frozen river or canal. Skaters or visitors can stay warm next to any of the three fire pits adjacent to the ice trail, or enjoy hot chocolate while watching skaters pass by. Concessions, skate rental and restroom facilities are available for all patrons visiting the park.
