Free agents should enter their information on the Adult Free Agent Form online. It is up to individual captains to pick players up as needed. While many free agents eventually are picked up by teams, there is no guarantee.
Adult Sports registration is generally taken by team only* so fees are charged as a team fee. Free agents who join a team will need to determine their individual fee with the team captain.
*Senior softball registration is taken on an individual basis.
The registration system will take a $100 deposit at registration OR you may choose to pay in full. If you choose to only pay the deposit, the credit card or checking account you paid the deposit with will be automatically charged the remaining balance on the first evening of competition.
This varies per sport so check each sports page for rules. Coed ratios are also listed in each sport's rules.
Exposed Jewelry may NOT be worn during sports participation.
1. Medical alert jewelry may be worn but must be taped to the body or covered (i.e. with a sweat band).
2. Protruding stones are not allowed.
3. Fitness Trackers may be worn attached to shoe laces, beneath clothing or covered (i.e. with a sweat band).
4. If, in the opinion of the referee, any jewelry (exposed or not) is deemed dangerous to any player or staff, the player must remove it.
If a league/program is canceled or teams are combined due to insufficient registration, you will be notified prior to the start date and will receive a full refund, credit or transfer to another sport or team.

Cancellation, refund and transfer requests must be made seven business days prior to the advertised start of the activity. The initial payment of $100 is non-refundable and there is a $5 processing fee for each change to the initial registration purchase.

Our membership fees have not been increased in over a decade and the Department has recently taken a comprehensive approach to assuring long term financial sustainability. During the past 12 years, significant value has been added to memberships through facility enhancements and expansions, technological advancements, conservation/sustainability efforts, expanded youth, adult and senior programming, state-of-the-art equipment and machinery updates, along with the addition of other modernized amenities and spaces. Additionally, operating and maintenance costs have steadily increased over time and while we strive to remain affordable, a rate adjustment is needed to remain financially sustainable.
· The CDC has stated that there is no evidence that coronavirus is transmitted through properly treated swimming pool water.
· All Parker Recreation pools are monitored multiple times per day to ensure proper disinfectant levels are maintained. Additionally, the lap, therapy and activity pools are treated with Ultra Violet light as a secondary disinfectant system which is highly effective at eliminating viruses and other harmful organisms.
While we encourage swimmers to bring their own equipment, we will provide a limited number of equipment that will be sanitized in bleach solution before and after use.

Every hour, to include before and after designated sessions, staff will sanitize high-touch areas with FDA approved products, in addition to the routine cleaning tasks that occur throughout the day.
Additionally, twice daily, the deck and all seating areas will be treated with a high concentrated chlorine solution to effectively sanitize all surfaces.
Initially, the locker rooms will be closed. Swimmers should come ready to swim and will be able to change in deck bathrooms.
Deck showers will be available for the recommended pre and post-swim rinse offs.
For the foreseeable future, there will be no rentals, group visits or birthday parties permitted.

No, Therapeutic Recreation staff are not trained nor permitted to provide personal care or medication administration services to our participants. If you require assistance with personal care or medication administration during participation in one of our programs, you will need to make arrangements to have a caregiver provide those services for you. Caregivers will be allowed to attend programs at no charge, provided they are there for the purpose of assisting you. If you require any special equipment, (diapers, special diet foods, medications, etc.) it is your responsibility to provide those items.
Participants will take part in modified activities and games to ensure social distancing. Staff and participants within the group will remain at least 6-feet apart. Programs will be restricted to 8 or less with 2 staff members. Since we have limited space, registration will be required; drop-in participants will not be allowed. Each participant will have their own equipment that will not be shared. Any equipment that has to be shared will be sanitized before and after each participant throughout the program by a staff member.
Before and after TR programs, staff will sanitize equipment and any high-touch areas with FDA approved products, in addition to the routine cleaning tasks that occur throughout the program. Participants will also be asked to wash hands or use hand sanitizer when arriving to a program and before leaving from a program.

As we enter into our Safe Return phase of reopening facilities, which includes reduced capacities, we understand that some patrons remain unable or unwilling to participate in in-person classes in the facility. Our fitness and wellness instructors find tremendous joy in teaching classes for and connecting with our Parker community. They remain dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the people who join their classes, which requires dedicated time, ongoing planning and training, and a financial commitment to maintain appropriate certifications. Our customers who follow particular instructors and class formats and pay a fee to participate in their classes online are appreciated for their devotion to our exceptional staff and for allowing them to do what they love most; leading a customized, interactive fitness and wellness experience just for you. Recreation Department has experienced significant budget challenges due to COVID-19, supporting virtual, fee-based fitness programs is a win-win.
Yes. Your membership, which has been frozen since the closure in mid-March, will remain on hold until we are able to expand the capacity of the facilities. The Virtual Group Fitness schedule is separate from your in-person membership and visit passes.
Good news, the Virtual Group Fitness classes are FREE for you. If you are currently a member at the Parker Recreation Center, you still need to register for the Weekly or Monthly Virtual Group Fitness Access to gain the Zoom link, but you will not be charged. If you are not currently a member at the Recreation Center, but you have SilverSneakers or Renew Active through your insurance, you will need to complete this online form to register for the membership. Yes. The link is valid Monday through Sunday for the current week. A new link will be sent to Monthly Access participants and registrants of the following week prior to the start of classes on Monday.
Registration for the Virtual Group Fitness Access is non-refundable. Please take into consideration the number of classes and class times when selecting the weekly or monthly option.
No. The Virtual Group Fitness Access registration is separate from your monthly membership to the facility, drop in, daily registration or visit passes. In-person Group Fitness classes have a separate per-class registration.
Our instructors strive to provide a challenging yet safe class format that can be modified based on different ability levels; ultimately you know your limits. By participating in any Parker Parks and Recreation Virtual Fitness classes it is the participant’s responsibility to consult with a physician prior to, and regarding, participation in any virtual fitness program and you agree to modify the workout to accommodate your fitness ability.
We strive to protect the privacy of our participants during classes. All classes will be muted by the instructor to limit background noise and feedback so only the instructor can be heard. Participants are not required to identify themselves in the class and are welcomed to disable their video so only a blank screen will be visible by other patrons and the instructor. Screen sharing functionality is also not available, to increase security.
