Power Pool is an intense water fitness class that will change your mind about the traditional aqua aerobics class. During this 60-minute class, participants will circuit their way through stations designed to strengthen each muscle group while utilizing both the deck and the pool. Achieve that cross-training advantage through strength training, cardio and water resistance drills. The May session is held each Thursday, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. from May 9 through May 30. The June session is held each Friday from 8 to 9 a.m. from June 7 through 28. Both sessions are held at the Parker Recreation Center’s indoor pool, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. Cost is $20 for Parker residents and $22 for non-residents.
Are you ready to take your running to the next level? Let’s Run is designed for adults 18 years and older to work around where you personally are with your running. Each session will include running with a group to help keep you motivated and on-target to achieve your goals. This class will begin with a warm up with dynamic drills and a cool down with proper stretching to keep you running healthy. Come run with us each Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 8 a.m. from May 28 through June 27 at the Parker Recreation Center. Cost is $45 per Parker resident and $50 for non-residents.
