Grab your cowboy hat and stick horse because Parker Parks and Recreation’s Cattle Crossing 5K & Family Fun Trek with RNK Running & Walking is going to make ya’ll shout YEEHAW as we celebrate the beginning of summer and Parker’s rich rural history on Saturday, June 1 at 8 a.m. at Tallman Meadow Park, 12335 Canterberry Parkway in Parker.

Family Fun Trek is a western themed event and costumes are encouraged! The 5K is professionally timed and the Family Fun Trek is about one mile of laid-back, outdoorsy fun, which includes a “duck hunt” for the kids. All registered participants receive a commemorative “tin” campfire mug, a chance to win great prizes and a delicious, post-race pancake breakfast! The free Kids’ Dash for children 8 and under will follow the run; no registration necessary. Online registration closes May 29 at noon.
