Healthy Cooking Demonstrations

Healthy Cooking

Let’s make eating healthy fun again and get back to the basics. Join Nutritional Therapist/Natural Foods Chef Ashley Wood for a night of ideas and suggestions to help you eat healthier. Topics will include healthy tips for preparing food; recipe modification to reduce sodium, fat and sugar; demonstrations on the components of a healthy, balanced meal; and more!

Add More Veggies will be held on March 6 to celebrate National Nutrition Month and Spring Harvest will be held April 10. Cost per class is $5 for Parker residents and $5.50 for non-residents.

Classes are held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. For more information or to register, visit us online at www.ParkerRec.com/Fitness or contact Hillary at 303.805.3278 or hroemersberger@parkeronline.org.
