Directed by licensed goalkeeper coaches with playing experience, use this opportunity to finesse goalkeeping skills and agility. Topics in the Recreational and Intermediate division include ball handling, diving, distribution, protection, footwork and communication and use games and exercises collectively focusing on technique and fun. The competitive division will teach advanced technique and repetition for ball handling, footwork, advanced diving, angle play, collecting high balls and crosses, boxing and parrying technique, one-on-one breakaway technique and distribution.
Sessions provide a true professional goalkeeper training experience and are held March 20 to 23 at the Parker Fieldhouse, 18700 E. Plaza Dr. in Parker. The Recreational/Intermediate division will meet from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and costs $80 for Parker residents and $88 for non-residents. The Competitive division will meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and costs $100 for Parker residents and $110 for non-residents.
