The park has a unique interpretive and educational area, which incorporates six educational stations - a butterfly garden, weather station, plant life cycle, Colorado wildlife and geology, astronomy and outdoor amphitheater seating area for class lectures. Other amenities of this park include a shade structure with a table and a port-a-potty.

Flat 14er Designation

Flat 14ers is a State of Colorado initiative to encourage children, families, teachers, staff, administrators and community members to increase their level of physical activity by climbing virtual 14ers. This park/trail features signs with directions to "climb" the equivalent of a Colorado 14er. Find additional information by visiting Flat 14ers.
