The Town of Parker, Ryland Homes and Prairie Crossing Elementary School worked together to complete Auburn Hills Community Park. This three-acre park features a large, multi-use sports field which is used for Parks and Recreation Department programs as well as school programs.
The park has a unique interpretive and educational area, which incorporates six educational stations - a butterfly garden, weather station, plant life cycle, Colorado wildlife and geology, astronomy and outdoor amphitheater seating area for class lectures. Other amenities of this park include a shade structure with a table and a port-a-potty.
Flat 14er Designation
Flat 14ers is a State of Colorado initiative to encourage children, families, teachers, staff, administrators and community members to increase their level of physical activity by climbing virtual 14ers.
