Parker Recreation Aquatic Programs and Training

Aquatic Programs

  • Masters Swim - Practice for experienced adult swimmers (18 years and up) wanting to improve overall fitness and swimming technique.

  • Tuesday & Friday 5:45 a.m. to 6:45 a.m.
    • Feb 4- March 27

  • Sundays 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

  • Winter/Spring CARA Swim Team - Limited space available.
    • CARA Swim is full for the Winter/Spring season
    • Please check back for Summer season details in April
  • Swim Stroke Clinics - Experienced youth swimmers focus on advanced techniques for specific strokes. Open to ages 8-18 years old.
    • Jan. 11 Freestyle 
    • Feb. 8  Breaststroke 
    • March 14 Butterfly and Backstroke 
    • April 11 Starts and Turns

Aquatic Events

  • Easter Egg Hunt- This year the Easter Bunny is going swimmin?! Enjoy this twist on the traditional egg hunt as kiddos splash and dash for plastic, fun-filled eggs in the activity pool. There may even be an appearance by a special some-bunny!
  • Pool Parties- Celebrate your birthday or special occasion at the Recreation Center Indoor Pool.
  • Sensory Swim Nights - An ideal evening for individuals who love to swim and may be affected by loud noises. All the features (minus the yellow slide) in the Recreation Center Activity Pool will be turned off.
    • Second Monday of each month.
      • 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
      • Included with daily admission or Recreation Center membership.

Aquatic Training

Life Safety Courses

  • American Red Cross Community CPR/AED and First Aid - Train to recognize and respond to a variety of emergency situations. Please note: This course does not satisfy Healthcare Provider requirements.
  • Pet CPR and First Aid - Train to recognize and respond to a variety of cat and dog related medical emergencies. Please note: This course does not provide a certification.
